Robert has more than 20 years of professional experience having worked as a debt advisor, lender, and direct real estate equity investor.
Robert worked as a lender for 14 years both originating deals and restructuring distressed debt. He recovered more than £500m over 6 years for Deutsche Pfandbriefbank after the GFC. He has worked for other banks including Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
Since 2020, Robert has been advising investors on funding structures, covering the entire capital stack. Notably, whilst at CBRE Capital Advisors Robert arranged a £90m development loan for the second phase of the Lewisham Gateway Project.
He supports Fintex and Excellion Capital, principally helping borrowers refinance and restructure existing debt by leveraging his significant experience in this area.
