Ronnie Sarkar

Ronnie leads the firm’s business development activities and is focused on investor relations, capital partnerships and expanding our origination network, as well as sourcing and underwriting investment opportunities.
Ronnie is a veteran investment professional, operator and fintech entrepreneur with over two decades of experience across alternative credit, structured finance and M&A. During this time he has originated and structured investments across specialty finance, corporate credit and real assets and is also a founder in the fintech lending space. Prior to Fintex, he served as CEO of SME Capital and CIO of its parent company. Earlier in his career he held roles at Funding Circle and Insight Investment and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ronnie graduated from University College London and is a Chartered Accountant.
