“Fintex has funded UK SME lenders before and understands the critical role non-bank lenders like multifi play in expanding access to finance, particularly as traditional banks have withdrawn from important segments of the SME lending market. As a data-driven asset manager, disciplined underwriting is fundamental to our approach; multifi’s strong multi-year track record and analytical risk management framework are qualities we appreciate in a lending partner. The feedback from brokers and borrowers was also strong, reinforcing our confidence in multifi’s ability to grow its market share. We look forward to supporting multifi over the long term as they continue to scale their lending into this important business community in the UK.”
“We are delighted to have Fintex as a partner, as we accelerate our growth to support more UK SMEs. We see owners and management teams making sacrifices and working hard every day to deliver for their customers. Access to flexible, fast and simple finance solves a key pinch point and gives them the confidence to invest and grow. With Fintex Capital’s backing, we are ready to scale up and take multifi to the next level: we expect to provide more than £100 million of debt finance to UK SMEs over the next 3 years, helping more businesses access the working capital and growth financing they require.”
